Mandalay – 2017 Real Estate in Review: In 2017 the sale price for condos at Mandalay on Hudson rose to record breaking levels. This sought-after waterfront high-rise was built in 2000. With 269 units it soars 25 stories high and has world-class amenities including a parking garage, private outdoor space, a doorman and Jersey City’s largest residential pool! It is no wonder that the average time on the market was just 58 days.
So, without further ado here are the numbers for 2017 (as of December 2nd). One-bedroom apartment sales ranged from $545,000 to $725,000 with a median price of $670,000. The average price per square foot for 1-bedroom was $970. Two-bedroom apartments with two baths ranged from $930,000 to $1,000,000 with a median price of $970,000. The average price per square foot for two-bedroom units was $840. There is currently one three-bedroom unit on the market for $1,280,000 and a one-bedroom listed at $739,000.
